Metro Parks Fall Tree Festival Goes Out On A Limb!

Metro Parks presents Tacoma’s Fall Tree Festival where you can literally go climb a tree. The event, held in Wright Park, includes activities for the kids where they can make make leaf art, partake in a scavenger hunt and climb trees (properly supervised by a certified arborist who will help keep everyone safe via ropes, harnesses and helmets).

Kids at heart will have access to Metro Parks and the City of Tacoma arborists who will be on hand to answer tree care questions, check out the new paths, relax beside the restored pond, check out the recently refurbished basketball court, horseshoe pits and lawn bowling greens. Feeling too busy to attend? Remember, Wright Park is fully covered by free wireless so those that must be online can enjoy the outdoors and still maintain their connectivity.

Hmmm… When was the last time I climbed a tree? It’s been a while …
