More Neighborhood Confusion - Where's Stadium?

The News Tribune reported today on the opening of Fire and Water Sundries Organic Bath and Body Shop at 711 St. Helens in the “Stadium District” (Welcome).  We talk repeatedly about neighborhood identity on Exit133.  It’s challenging with the overlap and interweaving of neighborhood councils, historic neighborhoods, and business districts.  But when was the 700 block of St. Helens part of Stadium?  I’d call it downtown by a long shot.  At least the Fire and Water website says that they’re in the Historic Theater District of Downtown Tacoma.  They know where they are.  We expect this from the Seattle press, but it’s a surprise when we see it in the local press.
