Neighborhood Business Showcase Visits Proctor
Last week we had a great time in the Dome District. The business owners created a great tour that had groups running all over the district. From Freighthouse Square to Dragonfly, and everything in between, folks discovered (or rediscovered) some great places. Alfred’s graciously hosted a slightly rowdy crowd during a prize drawing that saw everyone going home with great prizes.
This week Thursday we’ll be visiting the historic Proctor district. This is a great walkable neighborhood with tons of restaurants, shops and sights. We’ll be playing bocce ball near the Pacific Northwest Shop, but the evening will begin at LaFondita. Grab your map of Proctor and the participating businesses, take a walk and collect some stamps before returning to LaFondita for the drawing at 7:30pm.
Prizes include tons of restaurant gift certificates, T-Town apparel, pet products, ice cream, clothing certificates, passes to the Blue Mouse Theater and lots more!
This is not to be missed. We hope to see you all there!

Curious, have you noticed the lack of suitable bocce court space (aka parks) in our business districts?

I wouldn’t miss it. Proctor is a fun place and LaFondita is the best!

Morgan: Proctor has Puget Park just a few blocks away from the intersection of 26th and Proctor. However, it is hardly bocce-worthy, the balls will end up rolling down the gulch and not stopping until they hit Katie Downs.
La Fondita IS good, I just wish they’d open early on the weekends to satisfy my Huevos Rancheros jones.

Come early tonight so you can join in on the business district festivities. We’ll be playing in the grass on North 27th Street by the Pacific Northwest Shop. As we add more games, we’ll find more grass.
The weather is amazing. Tonight should be great.

The Dome District was a challenge. So we had an awesome time at Alfred’s instead. No bocce, but plenty of fun.
