New Condo Action

Today we’re focusing on real estate developments around town.  One of our intrepid tipsters has been busy and we’re now trying to play catch up. So here we go:

• A 50 unit condo project is going in at 505 Broadway.  I believe this is where the DTI Soccer offices used to be until they moved down to the Tacoma Dome area a few years ago. 

• A 6 condo and 2 apartment project is going in at 2140 Tacoma Ave. South.  The house at this address was on the market late last year and we’d guess that it won’t be around much longer. 

• 7 Townhome style condos going in at 716 South 21st Street.

• We hear that a fair amount of dirt is turning over at the NE corner of 15th and Tacoma – across from the Marcato.  The land is owned by Blaine Johnson.  New building or is it just dirt storage?
