No LINK Next Week

We’ve been asked to pass along the news that the Tacoma Link will be closed next week:

Beginning Saturday, August 8 and lasting up to Sunday, August 16, 2009, Tacoma Link light rail will not operate due to construction. During the closure, free special Tacoma Link buses will operate along Pacific Avenue, making stops at South 9th, 15th, 19th and 25th streets and the Tacoma Dome Station. Buses will operate on a similar schedule as the train.

For some, you’ll get a break in hiking the hills. For others, we recommend comfy shoes.
