Tacoma Named Top Date City

Okay, maybe this wasn’t what you were thinking, but apparently, Tacomans, along with Seattleites, consume more dates (medjool dates in particular) per capita than other cities around the country. We found that little factoid somewhat surprising, but Pacific Grill suggested that maybe this has something to do with their Meat Candy, and we think they may just be on to something… By the way, if you haven’t tried the meat candy yet, you need to go directly there after work and take advantage of their all-day happy hour prices, and try some.

Night Blow at Museum of Glass

The Museum of Glass is extending an invitation to a fun evening event they’re calling a “Night Blow.” The evening will feature the opening of two MoG exhibits, live music, hors d’oevres and a no host bar, and “flameworking demonstrations.” Some guests will also have the opportunity to try out glassblowing for themselves, making a hand-blown glass float with the guidance of the pros. Sounds like a great party to us.
