Holiday Market Downtown
Be sure to stop by the holiday market downtown this weekend. The market, being billed as a “European style market” will feature the work of local artisans, giving you a chance to do a little local shopping downtown. Of course the ice skating and Two Five Trees are still going on, so why not make a day of it?

Asia Pacific Holiday Drinks
This Saturday, December 3rd is the last of the Asia Pacific Cultural Center’s 2011 monthly tea ceremonies. For their December ceremony, they will be featuring holiday drinks from a variety of Asia Pacific traditions. It’s an opportunity to learn a little about the history and culture associated with the teas, and to relax and find some harmony. All that and a hot cup of tea sounds pretty good this time of year.
When: Saturday, December 3rd, 10:00 to 11 a.m.
Where: Fircrest Community Center in Tacoma
Cost: The participation fee is $10. APCC members will get 50 % discount.
