On The Market: A Special Victorian
Sometime last year we went on a walk and came across one of the most amazing things we’d seen in the city – a block of tall painted lady Victorian homes in the middle of a, generally speaking, “up and coming” neighborhood. All the homes were quite stunning. We circled the blocks and, while we could find a fair number of good looking individual homes, this block seemed to be in class all by itself. This is what we imagined the hill heading up from downtown once was. You can still find individual Victorian homes in downtown. On a few blocks you’ll find several. But this intact block just a few blocks into hilltop simply amazed us.
One of these homes is now on the market. Good looking house. Great looking block. Has anybody been inside that can tell me about the remodel? At $499k I have some pretty high expectations.
Listed with Real Estate USA, but I can’t find a website. So here’s Windermere

Me thinks Connie L made more than a “few words”. Oh how conveniently she listed her experiences on the Council and in the State House. Oh yes…she is running for office. Seemed just out of line and exploitive of the opportunity for the political campaign effect. Almost as subtle as Deputy Mayor Lonergan’s pick-up parked in his City Hall spot with a truck bed full of Dad’s campaign signs.

Bleh… am watching last week’s council meeting. What a blatent allowance of Connie Ladenburg shoving her face into the camera for campaign purposes. Funny to see how quickly she zipped out at the first public comment.
