Open Space Community Meeting June 12th

The City of Tacoma, the Green Tacoma Partnership and the Metropolitan Park District are partnering to develop the Open Space Habitat and Recreation Plan. This plan’s primary emphasis is habitat areas and their acquisition, management and restoration.

This Thursday, these groups will be hosting a community meeting where you’re invited to attend to learn about, and provide your input on the Open Space plan, which has been in development over the past two years and will soon be ready for public review.

The meeting will discuss everything from policies to the importance of volunteers.
