OTM: Inexpensive 4 Bedroom in the North Slope

This home appeared on our radar because… well, it’s very inexpensive for a 4 bedroom home in the Historic North Slope. $280k for a corner lot 4 bedroom and 3 bath circa 1891 Tacoma home in a good neighborhood.
We’ve watched this place get fixed up and improved over the last few years. While we have no idea what it looks like on the inside, the outside is definitely better than it used to be and looking nice.
Anybody still buying these days?

Wow. That is a steal, at least if the description can be believed (the lack of interior images is rather suspicious). Could be a great opportunity for someone to get into a big, old house for cheap and fix it up; that’s what the wife and I did two blocks away at 6th and L and it’s been very rewarding. Come on down to the NSHD!

I was inside this house when it was for sale 6 or 7 years ago … nice place! Not a fixer, or at least it wasn’t then … but I’m sure there are things to tinker on here or there. When we saw it, the attic bathroom was only half in … sounds like it was finished. There’s no basement, but the bedrooms are spacious and the attic space is rockin’. And the “widow’s walk” is really cool. It was slightly out of our range back in the day, or we’d probably be living there …
