Okay, this isn’t in Tacoma… but it’s really close. More importantly, it’s on an island. How many islands do we have around here? Is Vashon and Anderson islands too big for your taste? Here’s a home on Ketron Island. It’s closer to Steilacoom than Anderson Island, but it has fewer than twenty homes. Yeah, you have to deal with ferry schedules and isolation, but it doesn’t get much more exclusive around here… and “only” $425k.

Hmmmm… I think the angle on this is wrong.
Let’s say you’re a rich Russell executive and you have your office downtown… the Missus reigns in the tudor in Old Town… what to do with your mistress and gun collection?

Like Tacoma, yet hate it? Set yourself apart on secluded Ketron Island.
Gotta admit, it would just the place to ride out a zombie uprising.

There were issues with water supply a few years back – don’t know if that ever got resolved, but it did limit development drastically.
