OTM: It Doesn't Get Much Grander ...

We hear from many of you about real estate. And we heard that not everybody wants a 32 plat chunk of land … so how about grand historic Italian mansion in the Stadium District?

The home was designed by A.J. Russell in a great neighborhood. 8 bedrooms. 8.5 bath. An amazing garden. 12,000 square feet … for that growing family. Plus, it’s only 3 blocks from the Parkway. At $229 per square foot it’s a lot cheaper than a condo in the area.

Now try to image this home when the old Buffelen Mansion was still situated next door. That would’ve been an impressive block.

(In case you hadn’t noticed we are dreaming big this week.)

man, you’re killin me! My dad lived in the old Buffelen place and played in that house too. Thank God it’s still around at least

Oh, now that’s my kind of house! I wonder if Marguerite could talk them down to an even 2 mil? Of course, I’d have to overcome a serious furniture shortage…

Thanks for the Buffelen photo. I hadn’t seen that before and I sighed out loud.

But this place has some potential for a bachelor that frequents the Parkway. A guy could probably impress a few high tier women with this crib.

Mofo, that house and a labrador puppy would give game to any young bachelor-type.

We could all go in on it together. Make it an exit 133 frat/sorority/big brother type of place.

Something about that red entryway suggests formal attire and good posture.

I think that’s how the place is being used now, Altered. Either that or it’s a B&B or a cult center. In any case, lots of people seem to stay there with lots of comings and goings.

I like your plan, but if everyone gets their own dorm room we’d still be looking almost $350,000 each. Too rich for my blood. Maybe put some bunk beds in?
