Our Favorite Thing This Week - Updated
Our favorite thing this week came in the unusual form of a candidate’s response to the TNT’s invitation for an interview. Crazy Eccentric Nonconformist political candidates get our attention, particularly when they have a way with words, and Stephan Brodhead (running for Norm Dicks’ seat, if you hadn’t heard of him) certainly fits that bill.
While the idea of newspaper endorsements of candidates doesn’t necessarily sit easy with us, we’re still in awe of the response Brodhead came up with. Thanks to the TNT for providing our favorite thing this week. And if you really want to kill some time, check out the Brodhead for Congress webpage for a little dose of American history, with liberal use of both quotation marks and exclamation points. The family history under the heading 1776 might be worth a read.
Read Brodhead’s “Official Response” to The News Tribune.
Also, our favorite Facebook thing this week is this picture from Hilltop Artists.
Have a great weekend folks.

Either the TNT took the response down, or your link is busted.

Link fixed. The TNT changed the date on the article which broke the link. All better now.
