Our New Addiction: Zillow.com
It used to be that to research a home’s value you had to watch the real estate listings, check out the county assessor’s website, and talk to realtors. Now, the man that brought us Expedia.com found himself with an idea, $32 million in VC funding, and has brought us Zillow.com. The site launched this week. Type in an address and get the ‘Zestimate’ of the home’s value. Compare it to its neighbors. Find comps. Track historical sales. Graph a home’s value against the neighborhood. It’s quite an amazing site. It doesn’t replace the services of a realtor, but it does give us one more bit of information before we talk to our realtors. It’s cool.

Desperate much?
What a shame to sue the guy who let that boat moor at his dock for FREE for eight years!
Why can’t they dry dock the boat and make a restaurant out of it? No engine, drive-train, or hull work required. Probably cost prohibitive… but I’d be really cool!

How about turn it into a marijuana dispensary.
That way if the Feds come in to ransack and trash it after a raid then there would be no loss. Also it would be less of an annoyance or nuisance to nearby neighbors..
