Pac. Ave Closed for a Bit Today

This came in while we were at lunch:

Pacific Avenue Closure from S. 21st to S. 24th

An emergency closure on Pacific Avenue from South 21st St. to South 24th St. is needed due to failing base materials for the roadway that are being used temporarily. Therefore, the contractor has closed this area from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today to place additional materials down and to stabilize the base.

That doesn’t sound like any fun. Now you know. Look out!
