Pac Ave Streetscape Update: Parking
The work on phase 1 of the Pacific Avenue Streetscape project is in full swing, with sidewalks torn up, and plenty of heavy machinery.

The BIA blog has a brief update from this week’s “coffee talk” about the project.
The contractor plans to perform the magic trick of fitting 16 months of work into a 10 month window, with a built-in three week buffer for unexpected delays. If they’re able to pull it off, the project will be completed before the start of the 2013 holiday season.
And for the parking conscious, there’s this:
It was mentioned that there will be more parking spaces coming soon, and free 2 hour parking at the Park Plaza North Garage with validation from participating businesses.
People (and businesses) like their parking, so there you have it: shop downtown and park for free. Soon?
