Paul Ellis Leaves the Chamber... and Tacoma
Paul Ellis, the Metropolitan Development Director for the Chamber of Commerce, the face of the BIA, local blogger and co-panelist with us for several events around town is leaving Tacoma in March. Where to next? The St. Louis suburb of Columbia, Illinois for a can’t refuse position in Economic Development.
Good luck, Paul.

Paul was playing a big role in getting the Chamber into the Tacoma blogosphere.

The sad thing is that he won’t be able to enjoy the fruits of his labor since the results from many of the projects are longer term. Don’t be a stranger Paul! Come back and visit!

Whhhhhaaatttttttttttttt! No.
Can’t we make a counter offer? Someone call David Graybill or Bruce Kendall.
Tacoma hasn’t had to say goodbye to someone of Paul’s sincerity and empowering magnitude since Art Popham.

paul is a good guy. i can’t think of a bigger cheerleader for downtown tacoma than paul. last year, he opened to door to allow me to write a long feature about an overnight ride-along with the downtown BIA’s bike patrol officers. a memorable time. good luck, paul . . . —TODD
