Personal Tram System?
Do you remember the slightly precarious looking bicycle escalator thread from a few months back? We have another one for you. Personal trams! A French organization is looking at personal transportation systems that can be used on abandoned and unused light rail tracks. Can I think of where we’d use this? There are some unused train tracks at UWT and in the brewery district. Other than that, not really. But it’s another idea for you to consider as we think about downtown transportation schemes.
