Pierce County Assessor-Treasurer Candidate Forum
If you’re at all curious about the candidates in what is shaping up to be an interesting race for the Pierce County Assessor-Treasurer seat, you may want to consider the City Club of Tacoma’s next dinner.
Next Wednesday, June 6, at the University of Puget Sound, the City Club will host a candidate forum for the position currently occupied by controversial candidate Dale Washam. The forum will feature questions from the Tacoma News Tribune’s editorial board for four of the five candidates. Washam, the incumbent, declined to participate.
We’ve said it before: it looks like this is going to be an interesting race. It’s a shame that Washam won’t be there, for entertainment value, if nothing else, but hopefully we’ll get a serious conversation from the other candidates in his absence. What questions would you like to hear asked of them?
