Pierce County Receives Achievement Awards

If you’ve used the Pierce County online Planning and Land Services resource or its Legal Information Network Exchange system lately, you may not know it, but you’ve had the privilege of using a nationally award-winning online tool.

Pierce County was recently awarded National Association of Counties Achievement Awards for improving its building permit process and the management of electronic records in its criminal justice system. According to a recent article from the Business Examiner, the improvements have significantly streamlined and increased transparency and user-friendliness for both systems.
