PLU's William Rieke - Rest in Peace

Former PLU President William O. Rieke has died at the age of 74.  He led the school from 1975 to 1992.  From the PLU website:

President Emeritus William O. Rieke died this last weekend, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 74. A remembrance and celebration of Rieke’s life will take place during chapel on Friday, April 28, at 10:30 a.m. in Lagerquist Concert Hall of the Mary Baker Russell Music Building. Dr. Rieke’s memorial service is Saturday, April 29, at 1:30 p.m., St. John’s Lutheran Church, 8602 Bridgeport, Lakewood.
