Possible New Sign Designs For Cheney Stadium

Cheney Stadium is considering some new signs. The Rainiers have applied to the City for size and height variances to allow the installation of the signs at two locations.
The signs would be located one at each entrance to Cheney Stadium - one on 19th across from Fred Meyer, one on Tyler Street just north of the Highway 16 overpass. The identical proposed signs would be 26.5 feet tall with a 57.6 square-foot total surface area, with the words "Cheney Stadium, Est. 1960" in routed-out, back-lit plexiglass. The white piping and "game today" would be in white neon, along with an arrow in red neon. The red arrow, and "game today" neon would be lit on game days, but will be static, without flashing or movement.
The signs themselves have a retro look to them, but what we really want to know is whether they come with the guy, or is he extra? Maybe he just really likes the new design...
