Pre-Fire Photos of the Hillside Quickie Market

As many of you know, there was a significant fire at South 16th and G Street yesterday afternoon that consumed the Hillside Quickie market. The 120 year old wood frame building was on the National Register of Historic Places and is a total loss. A lot of people have asked us if we have photos of the fire. We don’t, but many people and publications do. That said, we do have a a few pre-fire photos of the building from last year.

What’s up with the pile of trash? You can see it on Google Street View too.
