Primary Election Today - VOTE

Washington State’s Primary Election is today, and they’re trying something a bit different. The State has changed to a “Top 2 Primary” system in which candidates are not affiliated with a party, they only choose their preferred party, and the top two winners of the primary will go on to the General Election whether they are of different political parties or not. Folks have been talking about this system for several years now .. and most people we know are still confused.

In case you haven’t already sent in an absentee ballot, the polls are open from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. today.

Congrats to State Auditor Brian Sonntag for getting the highest vote tally in any Statewide race, in the preliminary results.
