Prium Gets An Extension for Foss Site 1
I was just thinking that we haven’t talked about Prium enough lately.
Well, Prium, of Hanna Heights and the not yet started Winthrop restoration, was granted an extension of their option on the Foss site 1 property. The last time we heard, groundbreaking on the waterfront mixed condo/commercial building was supposed to begin in February 2009. Well … there’s this thing called the economy. The new deadline to close is October 1.

So many options issued on the Foss properties over the last 7 years, it’s hard to remember them all.

It’s obvious to even me, a non-industry insider that between the economy and whatever Prium has going on internally, that they bit off more than they could chew.
Maybe they should just give up some projects (like the Hotel) and focus on tangible ones like the Winthrop… which last time I checked was already fully built.
