Proctor Farmers' Market 2014 Regular Season Begins

It's official, spring has sprung. The daffodils are showing, the cherry blossoms are in bloom, and we got a couple of legitimately sunny days. But the way you really know it's spring in Tacoma is that the Proctor Farmers' Market is returning to its weekly schedule.

After a long winter of only one market a month (minus that one that got canceled due to nasty weather) with limited hours, the Proctor Market will return to its normal 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., every Saturday beginning this week.

Keep up with vendors and happenings at the Proctor Farmers' Market on their website or Facebook page.

With the Proctor Market returning this weekend, the other Tacoma markets aren't too far behind, and they've just announced their new executive director, Stacy Carkonen. No official opening date is posted yet for the South Tacoma and 6th Ave markets, but Broadway kicks off on May 1.

Is it still full of dogs peeing on the stalls and drooling all over the produce?
