Proctor Farmers Market Starts on Saturday!
Saturday is a special day in Tacoma. It’s the first day of farmers market season with the opening of the Proctor Farmers Market – earlier in the season than ever before. The market will be open from Saturday through Thanksgiving.
An email from the market listed the things to expect this early in the year:
- Free-range and grass-fed meats
- Cheese
- Smoked Fish
- Fresh Flowers
- Produce as it becomes available. First market day, expect greens, salad mix, braising mix…and maybe radishes…
- Bakery items and prepared food
- Rain barrels, dog treats, and more!
Plus, this Saturday will feature the Junior Daffodil Parade in Proctor. It should be passing the market at 10:00 am.
We’ll see you there.
