PSP: Serving it sunny-side up

On my first visit to Tacoma I was told that the best pizza, hands down, could be had at PSP, which I later learned stood for Puget Sound Pizza. A short Link ride, several delicious Mac n’ Jack Ambers, and two slices of pizza goodness later, I was hooked.
Naturally, when I heard rumours that PSP would start serving breakfast during the week, I was keen to try it out. Having no knowledge of their weekend brunch offerings, I was excited to see what would be on the menu. Would they serve a breakfast pizza of scrambled eggs and bacon, or better yet scrambled eggs, green onion and feta?
I’ll admit that I was so raring to go that I showed up a week early only to be disappointed when I found the doors closed and the restaurant encased in darkness. Not to be deterred, I tried again a week later and was rewarded with delicious eggs, sunny side up.
If you’ve yet to swing by for a bite to eat en route to work, you’re missing out. Open from 6:15 am through 10:15 am, they’re catering to the pre-gym, post-gym and forgot-to-eat-breakfast-before-I-walked-out-the-door crowd. From eggs to country fried steak, there’s plenty of reason for you to stop by for some tasty eats.
