Pushing Dirt on City Owned 21st and Fawcett

We’re feeling curious today.  So, just to get folks even more excited around here, we hear about earth movers on the six acres of city land at 21st and Fawcett.  This is the land that once-upon-a-time was being considered for the new City Hall campus.  We’ve sent out a few emails asking for clarification of the work being done, but we’re also getting cell phone pics and calls about the work from several folks.  So, yes, we hear you!  The land there is moving and something is happening.  Maybe it’s just a bit of spring cleaning…  Or…

Here’s a thought – since we don’t know what’s happening on this land, what would you like to see here?  City Hall?  An extension of UWT?  A six acre mixed use project?  A commercial building with first floor retail?  A multiplex with a Red Robin in the parking lot?  Six acres of community garden?  The earth is moving… now’s the time to dream before reality sets in.
