Questions and Answers About the 2012 Primary

Tuesday, August 7, the date for the 2012 primary election is fast approaching. Voters’ guides will be in the mail next week.

The Tacoma Daily Index has some answers to a few common questions relating to the upcoming primary.

One important note: new voters have until July 30 to register for the primary, but it must be done in person at the Pierce County Elections Center, 2501 South 35th Street, Tacoma, WA 98409. If you want to register or change your address online, you only have until July 9. You’ve got a little longer to register or change your address for the general election, but why wait?
