Rampart Auction on April 7th

Sadly, Steve Craig, owner of the Rampart, passed away in February. His daughter has asked Sanford and Son to manage the liquidation of his estate. If you knew Steve or ever visited Rampart, you know there will be some treasures unearthed in this auction. A bit of deco. A bit of funk. A lot of swanky goodness.

The first auction will be held on Monday, April 7th at 10am. Doors open for a preview at 9am. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to own pieces of Steve’s incredible collection.

Once in a lifetime for sure.

Will that be at Sanford & Son or at Rampart?

Why on a Monday? Does anyone know if its a one day auction? Seems like a lot of items to get through in one day.

I’m pretty sure the auction will be at Rampart (which is just up the street from S&S). That is where the signs have been.

We have scheduled the other two auctions for Rampart.
We finished the Shop/Gallery part of the estate yesterday in record time.
The next two auctions will be of Steve Craig’s personal estate.
Steve collected only the best of the coolest and kept it in his loft and his game room.
The amount of incredible inventory is breath taking!
You will find everything from rare books, killer art deco, quackery and dentistry, pinball, jukebox, designer mid century, a gigantic assortment of Old Tacoma memorabilia. Too many other items to list. You really don’t want to miss this one though folks. Get the day off. The auctions are scheduled for the 21st and the 28th of April. Both of those days are Mondays.
There may have to be another day added due to the amount of killer items that are there. We will let you know. If you do have any questions, you may call Sanford and Son Antiques at 253-272-0334.
A poster is in the making as I type. You may also check myspace.com/sanfordandsonantiques

I apologize, I forgot to let you know that the auctions will be held in his loft and his game room. The doorway is on the Opera Alley side of Rampart. We will have signs up for you on the day prior to the Auction. If you would like to preview, give us a call and we can set up an appointment to take you up there. Thank you.
