Raw Talent #2 - Talent Show

With a DJ, full bar, and food for the audience and mics, LED lighting and audio inputs galore for the performers, the Raw Talent #2 talent show is set to go Saturday, Nov 28th at the New Frontier Lounge. The Raw Talent show is a benefit for Second Cycle, the hilltop bicycle co-op. Admission is only $5.00 (free to performers) and will get you full access to an event described as “maniacally fun!”.

For those who need a little background, here’s what the organizers say:

Raw Talent is a talent show with mostly local performers, many with little or no prior experience on stage. There are no requirements for an act. Performers are allowed to do whatever they want. So far people have done spoken word poetry, music, comedy, skits, puppet shows, dance, etc. Content ranges from dramatic to heartfelt to wild and experimental.

Currently, the they are looking to fill the bill so if you have the itch to share your talent, contact Zachary Marvick at 347-851-0053 and let him know the name of your act, a brief description of what you plan to do and any technical needs you may have.

Interested? What can you bring to the show?

Love the picture! If only Tacoma weren’t about 160 miles away! But it sounds like fun, and something I might have done in my previous life.
