Tempest Lounge will be hosting a Reading is Sexy… Bookworms Unite Banned Book Club Meeting. Their selection is The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brien, the 2008 Tacoma Reads Together book pick. Copies are available at King’s Books. Half priced appetizers for all book club participants at 7pm.

Is “The Things They Carried” banned? I remember reading it in high school, but I got it at the public library. A great book. I actually think about it often and would like to read it again!
