Register Now for Pierce Conservation District Elections

The Port of Tacoma’s Inside Line this week reminded us of the upcoming Pierce Conservation District elections, and shared a helpful and timely tip:

Register now for Pierce Conservation District elections

The Pierce Conservation District will hold elections March 27 for a position on its Board of Supervisors. The public agency works with landowners, municipalities and other groups on conservation projects. <br ?>
Pierce County voters don’t automatically receive a ballot for these positions. To register to vote in the district’s elections, email your name and address to Selena Corwin by 4 p.m. March 6. You’ll receive a mail-in ballot each year, or you can vote in-person from 4 to 8 p.m. March 27 at the district’s office, 5430 66th Ave. E., Puyallup.
