Register to Vote at UW Tacoma

We’d hope that current events would provide sufficient incentive to register to vote, but if you need a little extra prodding, the Urban Studies Program at University of Washington, Tacoma has got your back.

They’re bringing the Pierce County Auditor, Pat McCarthy, to the Keystone building on campus to get you signed up in time for Nov. 4. When you’re squared away, you can bask in the afterglow of national pride by viewing a display on presidential visits to Tacoma from 1891 to 1980. The auditor’s office will be on campus from 10am to 2pm on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1. Also, Auditor McCarthy will speak on the importance of the electoral process both days from 12:30 to 1:30pm. We can’t think of a better time to bone up on some presidential information.
