Robert Hill Files for State Senate?

The TNT is reporting blogging that Robert “the Traveller” Hill, candidate for Pierce County Sheriff and frequent ‘performer’ at City Council meetings, has filed to run for State Senate in the 27th Legislative District. He’s being proactive… He filed to run in 2012. I’m constantly surprised by this man.

For those that don’t know “The Traveller” … read this article by the Weekly Volcano. Then, imagine him as Senator Hill.

    Robert Hill is crazy.

    Crazy like a fox!

Derek, Erik Hanberg… I call for the Exit 133 video featuring a day in the life of Robert “The Traveller” Hill.

    The time has come.

This is huge news, just ask Julie Anderson.

He’s also been appearing at the Tacoma School Board meetings… giving input on the Health curriculum. Maybe a run for the school board in the works….

    Hill for sheriff in 2008!

Hill for Tacoma school board in 2016!

Hill for Lieutenant Governor in 2031!

Hill for President of The Peoples Republic of Alaska in 2040!

Hill for City Manager in 1937 (how is this possible? You obviously are thinking in old fashioned linear terms)!

  • Squid September 11, 2008

I know for a fact that Traveller thinks in linear terms.

How long, me wonders, until Mr. Hill discovers Exit 133 as a means for communicating his views and perspectives? Too bad the Exit 133 Prediction Marketplace is no more. I’d love to see the over/under on that one…

How do we know Mr. Hill doesn’t already post here? Seems to me that Hill is a web 2.0 kind of guy.

Is the Masturbation Celebration holiday (suggested nomenclature: “As American As Mom & Apple Pie Day”) one of the stated planks in his platform? If so, count me in for a $50 donation.

  • rick September 12, 2008

Good point, crenshaw. Perhaps Mr. Hill DOES post on 133. And perhaps Mr. Hill cleverly asks questions about Mr. Hill’s platform using the name “Jim C”. And if I’m wrong then I certainly hope Jim C is the only person using Jim C’s keyboard!

from what I’ve gathered following Mr. Hill’s adventures through the media, Mr. Hill has limited computer access… mostly for word processing purposes.

I suspect he has an anti-email/internet libertarian paranoia of sorts.

The Melon guys might know more. guys?

  • RR Anderson September 12, 2008

however, I did read in the volcano article that he makes his money “fixing computers and teaching women how to masturbate” which sounds like a business opportunity for craigslist, which would require an internet connection.

    perhaps we’ll never know.

  • Squid September 12, 2008

You can get paid for that?

  • crenshaw sepulveda September 12, 2008

Fixing computers can bring you big bucks.

  • Squid September 15, 2008

I see, those are two separate activities. I thought it was all like one thing.

  • crenshaw sepulveda September 15, 2008

Maybe it is like George on Seinfeld trying to combine his favorite activities. In George’s case he flew too close to the sun on the wings of pastrami. Maybe Mr. Hill is able to pull it off (so to speak).

all this blue humor… you’d think I was reading feed tacoma. what’s next fart jokes? real mature.

Even so, Hill fixing a computer is like sex with your hat. He’s got you covered… but things just don’t fit.

  • Squid September 16, 2008

Totally need a different thread for the fart jokes. No place for those on a thread about The Traveller.

Perhaps the best way to let Mr. Hill decided to run for school board, is to vote out Sen. Regala. Remember, Larry Faulk is running agaist her. So Vote for Larry and let Mr. Hill focus on office in 2010.
