Robert Hill Sentenced

City Council meetings have lacked a certain amount of… excitement for several months now, since Robert “The Traveller” Hill was locked up for intimidating a judge and malicious mischief last fall. It appears that our City meetings will continue to be Hill-less through at least 2012. Hill was found guilty in January on the intimidating a judge charge and sentenced this last week to 16 months in prison. The malicious mischief and assault charges are still pending and the jury trial continues.

Full disclosure: Hill’s first felony conviction came, in part, as a result of messages left for “a local blogger.” We’ll leave it at that.
