Ruston Night Out on Thursday
This Thursday night, May 29th, the Neighborhood Business Showcase will be visiting the Ruston / Point Defiance business district. Where is this? It’s that little area outside of Point Defiance Park with the antique shops, nursery, and restaurants. Haven’t ever stopped? This is the perfect opportunity.
Tomorrow night the business owners will be staying open late and giving away prizes. Visit Don’s Ruston Market for free old fashioned soda drinks, listen to some great music at the Antique Sandwich Co, or find a new exotic plant for the yard at Jungle Fever. These are a few of the fun events going on.
Stop by Don’s Ruston Market first and get a map of all the open businesses and activities. Then visit a few shops to get entered into the drawings. Prizes include a three day, two night trip to Ocean Shores, kayaking rental, zumba party and more!
Plus, the bocce tournament continues with another terrific prize.

The current leader board for the summer long tournament – after one game – is:
#1 Justin
#2 (tied) Rick
#2 (tied) Rob
We think Justin is hoping to take the prize again tomorrow night. We think you should help unseat him! There will be plenty of bocce sets. Join the game.
The festivities begin at 4:00. The bocce games start at 5:30. Meet at Don’s Ruston Market – 5102 N Winnifred Street

It was a ton of fun last week, especially watching the final game when they played a round up on the side of the hill.
Besides, it’s 10x more fun than sitting at home watching Two and a Half Men reruns.
I highly encourage everyone to stop by.

You’ll all be happy to know that I’m stuck in Sacramento with work so a new winner is a guarantee! I’ll be there next week for sure. Good luck to all!
