Salty & Sweet: 1022 South Featured on Food & Wine Blog
We always like to see Tacoma businesses getting good press outside of Tacoma, and 1022 South has been a reliable source of buzz in the cocktail world since it opened.
An article posted yesterday on the Food & Wine magazine blog features artisan bartenders’ use of salt in specialty cocktails. 1022 owner/cocktail-guru Chris Klein is quoted at length on his philosophy on salt’s place in his innovative concoctions.
Hmm, we might have to give that Harkonnen cocktail a try… is it too early to declare happy hour?
