Scope Creep at the Lemay Museum?

The News Tribune is reporting today on the ever expanding scale of the Lemay Museum.  What was once a museum is now a ‘campus’ with a significant retail footprint in addition to the museum.  The cost is also estimated to have risen from $40 million to $100 million.  The city still needs to see the revised plans and there’s an open issue of a fundraising deadline in August…  It’s amazing how everything seems to turn into a parking discussion.

Retail here.  Retail elsewhere in the area.  Condos at the mattress factory.  Take this plan… add in a few other people’s plans…  the dome district isn’t going to be the same in a few years.
