Showcase Tacoma Starts Tomorrow!

The third annual Showcase Tacoma begins tomorrow. This is sure to be a great display of the local and regional arts scene with visual and performing art exhibits, demonstrations, art installations, and performance activities.

This year the ArtMart will feature indie crafts from local artists, so you can support the local scene and take some of your favorite pieces home with you.

Chalk art installations from SOTA students will be featured again, along with glass blowing, an interactive children’s art zone, poetry, highlights from The Grand Cinema’s 72-Hour Film Festival, a fashion show featuring Showcase-goers put on by Urban Exchange, Chipshot Photo and Embellish Salon, delicious food and drinks from local restaurants, and live music from The Helio Sequence and Matt Coughlin.
