Sitecrafting on Fastest Growing Inner City Businesses List

We saw in yesterday’s Business Examiner that downtown Tacoma’s very own Sitecrafting has been recognized by Fortune Magazine and the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City as #62 on its list of the top 100 fastest growing inner city businesses. The list looks at 5 year annual growth from 2006 to 2010 for companies in urban areas with higher unemployment and poverty rates and lower median incomes than their surrounding metropolitan areas. Sitecrafting was #51 on the same list in 2011.

Given the recent discussion about economic development in Tacoma, we’ve been talking a lot about what it means to live and work in this city. It’s good to see and celebrate success.
