Smoke + Cedar is Closing

Today the proprietors of Smoke + Cedar announced that they would be closing up shop in their space in the Elks building at the Allenmore Golf Course, about six months after celebrating their one year anniversary. Here's the post from their Facebook page:

It is with great sadness that we have decided to close Smoke + Cedar.

We will be open this week for Lunch, Dinner, Happy Hour and weekend Brunch. Our last service will be Brunch, Sunday November 1st 2015.

We are very proud of the restaurant we created, from the great interior design, to our delicious food + drink. Many many talented people came together and worked tirelessly to try and provide a great dining experience.

It has been a great pleasure collaborating with the many talented chefs, cooks, bartenders, servers and managers to try and throw a great party every night, and although we faced our share of challenges it was not without great effort to improve. And lastly we want to thank the many friends and Guests that supported us for the past 2 years in making it all worthwhile.

As we close Smoke + Cedar we look to other opportunities in downtown Tacoma, and indeed we are working on 3 new projects as we write this.

We invite you all to come dine with us one last time, enjoy Lunch, Dinner, Happy Hour + craft cocktails, and have one last Bottomless Boozy Brunch.

If you haven't had a chance to try the dirty fries, or linger over Boozy Brunch at the smokehouse and restaurant, you've only got a couple more days to get there. We're sorry to see them go, but we're looking forward to seeing what those other new projects are...
