South 9th Street Construction Resumes

You may want to steer clear of South 9th street in downtown for a while. Work on the construction project just uphill of Pacific Avenue will be resuming on January 9th. The sidewalk on the south side of the street will be demolished, and traffic flow has limited to two lanes, beginning this week.

Upon completion, the project promises improved sidewalks, “bulb outs, and a new cement concrete roadway surface. For the time being, however, you may want to find an alternate route, particularly if you’re on a bike.
