South Downtown Subarea Survey Available
If you have opinions on what you’d like to see happen with the South Downtown Sub-Area Plan and EIS process, you can share your thoughts in a survey available from the City. The City is asking for feedback from South Downtown “residents, employees, and other interested parties” on a variety of topics including your broad priorities for the area, more specific planning strategies, and some general questions about how you use the area.
You can play a role in the subarea planning process for South Downtown Tacoma by taking a community survey. The City is working with community members in the South Downtown area and wants to hear from you. A survey has been tailored for the subarea which will be made available at many South Downtown businesses and can be printed or completed online via the project website at www.CityofTacoma.org/SouthDowntownPlan.
Questions ask stakeholders to rate the importance of factors including employment, safety and security, transportation, housing, and others. So, if you consider yourself a stakeholder in the South Downtown area, what are your priorities? What do you consider the strengths and opportunities of the neighborhood? Where do you see the greatest need?
