South Tacoma Farmers' Market Opens Sunday

Don’t forget that this Sunday, June 3, is the opening day for the South Tacoma Farmers’ Market at its new location – the Metro Parks STAR Center.

Now beginning its third year, the South Tacoma Market promises even more in its new location. The STAR Center facilities mean that there will be more going on both indoors and out, with chef demonstrations and cooking classes in the demonstration kitchen, and locally sourced BBQ ribs and other tasty lunch items to be enjoyed in the park or around the baseball field. Sounds like a lovely way to spend part of your Sunday.
