Southern Kitchen Getting a Facelift?
Driving down 6th Ave we were surprised to see the familiar red facade of Southern Kitchen missing. Are they still there? After calming our momentary panic we noticed they seem to be getting a facelift… or something.

Also over on Ed’s blog, Altezzo and the Vertigo Lounge will be closing soon as the Murano redirects their focus to a restaurant on the 4th floor, The Bite. So if you want to drink/dine on the 26th floor, get over there soon…

Q 1) Anyone know if there is a good piano at the Bite?
Q 2) Anyone know if the collard greens at Southern Kitchen are the same as/ as good as the greens were at Djembe Soul?

at this point the bite does not have a piano. however, it is still under construction. as for your second question, i am not qualified to make that comparison

Don’t worry it is not vinyl siding it is quality Hardi Plank Siding that is being installed. The news Tribune article got that wrong.
