There is a guy who comes every so often from the McMenamins maintenance team that opens up the lodge to just look around and paint out graffiti on the outside of the building… but a line of trucks? That’s a great sign.

Contrary to popular belief in Tacoma, projects like this usually happen after an announcement about said project or a demo of the previous property/land to be re-used… in the outside world that is.

Oh ya, In this down and depressing economy, can anyone name all the businesses attracted to that area since the Broadway LID? Show you care about your city and others will too.

    More downtown LID’s please.

Excited to see some activity there.

    Still anxiously awaiting visible progress…

Maybe alot of worthy projects can move FORWARD now that the POTUS is poised to win….

Unfortunately, all this exciting work is being offset by all the work going on at the other Elks location.

Ran into a few guys from a plumbing and mechanical crew walking around and surveying the Elks today. They said they start work on January 4th. One guy asked where he should live nearby as he’d have to have a place for about 9-12 months being he’s from Portland. Last thing I saw was he went up the street to look a lease to sign.
