Stadium Way Project: Phase II Starts Monday
If you’ve been wondering about the progress on the Stadium Way Arterial Project, here’s the latest:
Phase II will officially begin next Monday, October 8. That means a full closure of the main length of Stadium Way between Division and I-705.

Message boards and clearly marked detour routes will be posted, but we’re guessing the best policy will be just steering clear of that area, if at all possible.
The north end is more or less complete, with a nice little crossing island in front of Stadium, and a stamped concrete crosswalk. Although not fully passable yet, the south end of the project is taking shape, with sidewalks poured along the stretch on Commerce in front of the Elks building, and decorative lampposts erected.
We’d like to offer our sympathy to all you Stadium Way condo dwellers, but we have to confess that we’re looking forward to the jackhammer ruckus moving up the hill.
If you have further questions about the project, the next open house is scheduled for October 29, at 6:00 p.m.

Any word on when Stadium Way will reopen after this?

The signs say it’s closed 10/2/12 to 8/31/13.
