Summer Solstice Celebration
The longest day of the year is right around the corner and in a part of the nation where we go weeks without seeing the sun, it’s definitely a reason to celebrate. To that end, A Grand Affair Catering will be hosting Summer Solstice: Dinner. Magic. Dancing. This 21+ celebration will include a 5-course dinner, Julian C. will bring the sounds of Latin and classical guitar to the meal. A $55 advance purchase ticket will gain you access to the evening’s meal and festivities ($65 at the door) and a cash bar will keep you there dancing the night away to the live music of the Tropics. You can even get your fortune told by Darlene Christopher of Christopher’s Lamp. Details and tickets can be found at Brown Paper Tickets

Solstice is solstice, but did they realize the big, outdoor “Playing Under the Stars” Children’s Museum of Tacoma benefit is the same night, less than a mile away?

Good point, Kari. The Children’s Muuseum has their biggest fundraiser of the year every year on this weekend.
It should be great this year—4 course meal from Il Fiasco, live music, all outside…
